This is an opportunity to help deliver our Parliamentary and Government Affairs Strategy in Scotland. Take it and, as well as assisting in the development of strategic relationships with parliamentary, government and political stakeholders in the country, you will also be expected to monitor political activity and any other issues which may be relevant to our work there. Doing so will mean developing and maintaining a good network of contacts with other parliamentary officers in the public, private and voluntary sectors who either share our aims, or who may be able to help us achieve our objectives.

Your experience of working with government at either local, Scottish, UK or European levels should be backed up by a sound understanding of the legalities and dynamics of devolution and party politics across the UK. We are also looking for some knowledge of equality or human rights issues, law or policy, together with a willingness and ability to increase that knowledge across all strands of our activity.
