Whitchester is a 3 Star Victorian country mansion set in 3 acres of carefully-tended, landscaped grounds. In Spring the woodland is carpeted with snowdrops, aconites and daffodils, followed by tulips and bluebells. For those hot days and warm summer evenings the summer house and gazebo give shelter, while in Autumn the trees are ablaze with colour. Roses and shrubs border the large front lawn. At the rear of the building we have our own walled garden and orchard, where we grow a variety of vegetables and fruits. Guests are welcome to wander around and identify what we are growing!
 
All our meals are home cooked enabling us to cater for people requiring specialised diets. Traditional and innovative recipes using fresh organic produce from our greenhouse, polytunnel and walled garden along with local fish and meat give the menu a genuine Scottish flavour. Vegetarian and more specialised diets can be catered for, with advanced notice.
 
We have a Ground Floor Bedroom, suitable for a single person, which may be ideal for those who are physically less able. Guests have a comfortable lounge, leading onto the conservatory. For those warm days enjoy, some time in the conservatory - on cool evenings, enjoy the roaring log fire in the lounge. The chapel is available for those quiet moments, as is our library on the first floor.

Across our staff team we have experience of supporting/serving people with:

- Mobility needs, including people who are a little unsteady on their feet and those using wheelchairs.
- Learning disabilities, including people with profound and multiple learning disabilities as well as people with moderate learning disabilities.
- Hearing impairments.
- Visual impairments.
- Mental health needs.
- Specific dietary needs, including people with medical or religious dietary needs, as well as exclusions in terms of ingredients or consistencies.
- Emotional needs, perhaps requiring counselling, or just time and space, peace and quiet.

Please contact us to discuss your needs and how we might best serve you during your stay. Tariffs available for B&B, Half Board & Full Board. People can use Whitchester as a base for touring the area or just stay 'on site' soaking up the peace & tranquility of the place.
