Birch cottage is a perfect holiday base for exploration of the remarkable scenic countryside and attractions that can be found in the Lake District.

The first holiday home of any type in the Lake District to be awarded in the National Accessible Scheme - for assisted wheelchair guests. The cottage comprises of 2 bedrooms, one with a four-poster double bed, one with a twin room and a deluxe double convertible bed in the living room, therefore sleeping 6 adults comfortably.

The level shower room has a wheel-in shower, handrails, safety non-slip flooring, mobile shower chair with support arms, and toilet with wide access and support rails.

There is a fully equipped new kitchen with cooker, fridge/freezer & washer/drier facilities. Thermostatic heating throughout the cottage.

All corridors and doors are extra wide for wheelchair access.

There is ample dining area and the comfortably furnished sitting area has a widescreen TV + DVD player. The cottage has delightful views over the gardens and landscaped grounds. Parking for cars is immediately beside the Cottage, situated on a quiet private road offering privacy and security.

There is access to leisure pool 10 minutes from Birch cottage, which features a sauna, steam room & cafeteria.
