Ealing Shopmobility Service

Ealing Council wishes to appoint a provider to deliver a pilot Shopmobility Scheme in Ealing Broadway from December 2010 to March 2013. The total value of the contract is up to £315,000. If the pilot scheme is successful, a longer term Shopmobility Scheme may be continued in Ealing Broadway.

The aim of the Scheme is to promote equality of access to Ealing Broadway to people with disabilities, through the provision of mobility equipment such as scooters, wheelchairs and power chairs, unlocking the access barriers faced by elderly people and people with a disability.
