What do you most like about acting?
That's a hard question because I like all of it! Rehearsals, performance, becoming a character by changing voice and physicality.

What do you not like about it?
That's an even harder question because I like all of it so I'm not going to answer. I like my job, my work and I'm lucky to work for a great company.

What makes you angry?
When someone calls people names because of how they look or because they're disabled. It doesn't happen to me but it makes me angry and upset for other people.

What one thing would you do to improve the lives of disabled people?
Every disabled person should be given a million pounds! Especially me.

Can you name three things you never go out without?
Mobile phone – using my brother's at the moment. My passes (bus and train) and my wallet.

How do other actors react to you as a disabled person?
As a colleague, a workmate.

What's the funniest thing that's happened to you as a disabled actor?
I played Oskar, a man with a learning disability in the Second World War and my family came to see it and because they know me they laughed a lot in the wrong places because they thought I looked funny in the costume and glasses.

Do you have any special or hidden talents?
My karaoke version of Angels is so moving it can make people cry – at least I think that's why they're crying.

How would you sum yourself up in ten words or less?
A nice person to be with who is also funny.

What would you like to be doing in ten years time?
Working as a regular in a TV series.
